Louie
When Dr. Andy met Louie, he was an owner surrender who had originally been adopted from the same shelter before her tenure. Louie had issues with snapping at people and leash reactivity. He participated in Dr. Andy's behavioral program for a while and stayed at the shelter for nearly a year. During his last four months, Louie did so well that he became an office dog at the shelter. Eventually, he was adopted by a wonderful family.

Roughly 6.5 million animals enter US shelters every year, less than half of the animals that enter shelters get adopted. We want to help those animals in finding their forever homes. With our Shades for Shelters program we donate 20% of net proceeds to humane animal rescues in the United States.
