Nala
Nala, a loving dog who initially entered the shelter as part of an owner surrender, arrived with another canine companion. In an effort to expedite their adoptions, Nala and her companion were separated, a situation that left Nala visibly heartbroken. Understanding her distress, my wife and I decided to foster Nala, hoping to provide her with the comfort and care she needed. Though initially missing her brother deeply, Nala eventually began to heal and adjust to her new environment. After some time in our nurturing home, Nala finally found her forever family and was adopted, bringing her chapter of uncertainty to a heartwarming close.

Roughly 6.5 million animals enter US shelters every year, less than half of the animals that enter shelters get adopted. We want to help those animals in finding their forever homes. With our Shades for Shelters program we donate 20% of net proceeds to humane animal rescues in the United States.
